Robin Marcotte is a physical theatre artist and educator. He’s an Assistant Professor of Theater at Boston Conservatory at Berklee and a teaching lecturer at PSU. He has served as the Executive and Co-Artistic Director of the award-winning Hotel Obligado Physical Theatre Company and was a company member of Mum Puppettheatre, both located in Philadelphia. In his 20 years of working in the professional world, he’s toured nationally and internationally, performing, teaching and creating works of theatre. Robin also served as the Managing Director of the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. He holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and is a graduate of the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Recently, he and, colleague Amanda Whitworth, created their touring physical theatre drama, Shadows. Additionally, he and Amanda, alongside Dr. Bobby Kelly, founded the organization Articine, which focuses on using the performing arts as a treatment for healing chronic pain and other health conditions.
