Taintor's current work as Art Project Manager for the MindsEye Designs’ Program at Community Partners developed out of an invitation ten years ago to provide arts enrichment to Adults with Developmental Disabilities participating in Day Programs provided by Community Partners.
Prior to this work:
Taintor received a Fine Arts Diploma from Clark University and the School of the Worcester Art Museum. She made wearable one of a kind art for several years and sold it as a street vendor and cooperative gallery member in Woods hole, MA.
B.A. at Lesley University with an emphasis on Creative Arts and Learning  and a certification to teach grades N-3.  Her thesis; “Creating the Garden For Youth” was about the development of a children’s gardening program she founded at the Magnolia Field’s Community Garden in East Arlington, MA.  After teaching  in Arlington Public Schools for one year her family relocated to South Berwick, ME. A variety of work experiences followed: Gardening for a local historic landmark, art making and teaching from her studio, attending art classes, substitute teaching in MSAD#35 public schools, and the Marshwood adult education programs, tending annuals for Wentworth Gardens and Greenhouses, working as an Experience Guide Educator at the Children's Museum and holding a position as an art and literacy teacher for grades 2-4 at Berwick Academy.
